Utsav! Indian Festival Food

An Evening with Anjana Mukhopadhyaya

Join us in the Community Kitchen for a delicious evening with Kolkata (“Calcutta”) native Chef Anjana Mukhopadhyaya. Just in time for the Bengali New Year, Chef Anjana will guide us in the preparation of such authentic Indian specialties as Aloo Puri with Potato Curry, Basanti Pulav (a fragrant basmati rice dish with whole spices, cashews and golden raisins), Chickpea Curry from the state of Punjab, Railway Chicken Curry marinated in yogurt and aromatic spices, and Mishti Doi, a rich and decadent yogurt dessert.

Recipe booklets will be provided to each participant. This class is recommended for beginners, culinary pros and anyone with an appetite for good food and adventure!
