Presented by Cheryl Buell
Saturday, February 9, 1pm-4pm
Join ceramic artist Cheryl Buell for a fun and informative, hands-on class creating whimsical and unique succulent containers. In this class we will focus on slab building techniques including clay preparation, rolling and cutting of clay slab, construction of containers, texture and decoration as well as proper drying procedures and glazing. Class members will return at a later date in March (TBD) to glaze their finished pieces.
Cheryl’s work can be seen at various venues throughout Arkansas including Ozark Folkways, the Fayetteville Farmer’s Market and at her always popular open studio events. Grounded in nature with an instinct for color and natural patterns, Cheryl’s work is in functional and decorative design and is highly sought after!
Cost $45 and includes all materials and instruction.
Class is limited to 8 people, ages 16 and older. Tickets are non-refundable. (In the event that you are unable to use your ticket we will make every effort to resell your ticket and refund your money, but if we can’t find someone to purchase the seat, there will be no refund.)
