Sweets are an integral part of Indian cuisine, not only an important element of social gatherings and holidays, but also of religious ceremonies. No event is complete without some kind of a traditional sweet.
In this class, we will learn how to make several kinds of these important sweets including Sweet Gulab Jamuns soaked in rose scented syurp, Northern Indian Carrot Halwa delicately scented with cardamom and pistachios, Coconut Pithe, a traditional winter harvest dessert similar to crepes, and a uniquely flavored and  delicious Jaggery Ice Cream with cream made from a rare variety of palm sweetener found only in eastern parts of India.

Tickets are $30 per person and include the tasting experience. This event is limited to 20 participants. Tickets are non-refundable. (In the event that you are unable to use your ticket we will make every effort to resell your ticket and refund your money, but if we can’t find someone to purchase the seat, there will be no refund.)
