Accordion Photo Frame Workshop
Saturday, February 15, 1pm-4pm
Learn a great way to display your photos! This accordion structure photo frame book is made of acid free bookboard, covered with acid free decorative papers. When open, this book measures 4.75” x 15.5” and will hold four 2.5” X 3.5” photo prints. Photos slip in the frame and can be easily changed. This book does not require any prior bookbinding experience. Students will choose from a variety of papers and will be provided with written instructions. All supplies are included.
Helen Kwiatkowski is a visual artist and bookbinder. She is a recently retired art professor from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Texas, where she taught 2- Design, Mixed Media and Book Arts. Her work has been exhibited nationally. In 2009 her work was included in the Texas Biennial: An Independent Survey of Contemporary Art in Texas. More recently, her work was included in Her Texas: Story, Image Poem & Song (A collection by Texas women artists, writers and thinkers), published by Wings Press in 2015. She now resides in Fayetteville where she continues to make art and teach workshops.
Class fee is $50 per person and includes all materials. This event is limited to 10 participants. Tickets are non-refundable. (In the event that you are unable to use your ticket we will make every effort to resell your ticket and refund your money, but if we can’t find someone to purchase the seat, there will be no refund.)
