Music on the Meadow

Sunday, April 22, 5pm – 7pm

Presented by Winslow Squirrel Jam

Cabin fever getting to you? We can help!

Join Winslow Squirrel Jam for an evening of music in the front room at Ozark Folkways. Bring an instrument, a singing voice, or just be prepared to do a little toe-tapping and hand-clapping. The songs are all familiar favorites, and lyrics and chord symbols will be projected on the big screen; everybody is encouraged to join in!

Most of the jammers have only been playing their instruments for a couple of years or less, so this is not a group that is going to intimidate a beginner — at the same time, experienced players will find themselves in a welcoming environment where their ability is recognized and appreciated. There’s something for everybody.

If you like, bring a snack and a beverage; this is not a concert, but rather a gathering of friends and neighbors looking to enjoy an evening of music and good company.

Admission is free to the public, although we encourage you to drop a few bucks in the tip jar to help pay for power and heat. For more information, just give us a call at 479-634-3791 or email us at info@ozarkfolkways.org.
