Presented by Rodney Johnson
Join Rodney Johnson from the Boston Mountain Potters Association for a fun and informative class creating small lidded stoneware jars. Rodney will lead us through the process of creating decorative and functional jars utilizing hand building techniques.
After your pieces have dried and been fired you may take them home to paint, use the glazes available at Folkways, or bring along to the “Raku Firing with Mom” workshop on May 5 (separate registration required).
Tickets are $25 per person, which includes materials. Class is limited to 14 participants, ages 12 and up. Pre-registration is required.
Tickets are non-refundable. (In the event that you are unable to use your ticket we will make every effort to resell your ticket and refund your money, but if we can’t find someone to purchase the seat, there will be no refund.)
To purchase tickets, just click the “Pay Now” button below. All tickets must be purchased prior to the workshop and the number is limited, so call today! (Ticket cost is non-refundable and is viewed as a donation to Ozark Folkways.) If you are unable to make the class, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can offer the open spot to others.
