Jesse Dean and Mark Bilyeu Concert

Saturday, July 27, 7pm

Winslow native son Jesse Dean and Mark Bilyeu from Springfield, MO (of The Creek Rocks and Big Smith) will team up to bring us an evening of amazing music. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy an evening at the outdoor stage at Ozark Folkways.

Jesse’s blues-rock originals reflect a blend influences from Mark Knopfler, Bonnie Raitt, and Stevie Ray Vaughn, to Warren Haynes and Cake. His are edgy songs of the South, smooth and blue, soaked in the sounds of the delta, revved up Texas boogie, richly electric rough-hewn southern rock played solid and clean.

Mark continues his musical journey after a sixteen year tenure as one of the founding members of Big Smith. He has now forged a partnership in music and life with singer-songwriter Cindy Woolf.

A donation of $10 will support the musicians and the mission of Ozark Folkways to preserve, develop, instruct, and celebrate the arts, crafts, and music of our region.
